The Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) is defined in ISO19650 as the document that sets out:
“managerial, commercial and technical aspects of producing project information.”
EIR are one of the fundamental principles information management and should be “identified wherever appointments are being established” i.e. it is critical in defining the BIM deliverables from the very outset of a project for key decision points.
